[ 02 ] How it works

## Why it works for trades

### FREE hosting forever, and fast by default

We do not charge for hosting on the sites we build. Not for the first year, not ever. We build static sites and serve them from Cloudflare, one of the largest networks in the world, which costs us very little to run, so we do not pass a hosting bill on to you.

There is no database to hack and no plugin to go out of date, which is why these sites stay quick and stay up.

### Changes without the hassle

New van, new service, new area, new photos? Send us a message or a WhatsApp and we make the change. No logins, no page builders, no breaking the layout by accident.

[ 03 ] Process

## Four steps to launch

1. 01

   ### Move

We move your domain and email records safely, with no downtime.
2. 02

   ### Host

The site goes live on Cloudflare with SSL switched on.
3. 03

   ### Watch

Uptime checks run around the clock and alert us, not you.
4. 04

   ### Update

Small changes are made on request and checked on mobile.

[ 04 ] Questions

## Common questions

### Will my email keep working if you move my domain?

Yes. We copy your existing email records across before switching anything, so email carries on as normal.

### Is there a contract?

No. Hosting is free, forever, on every site we build, with no contract to sign. If you ever leave, we hand over the full site files and domain control.
